Senior Honors Thesis
Asian Studies majors have the opportunity to participate in the Senior Honors program. Working under the guidance of a faculty member, a senior enrolls in a two-semester course during which the student researches and writes an honors thesis and defends it before an examining committee. A rising senior must have an overall GPA of at least 3.2 to be eligible to write a Senior Honors thesis. Students are advised to begin planning in the spring of junior year. To embark on this process, or simply to find out more about it, students should contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies for Asian Studies.
