Tar Heel summers

The summer may be a time to step back and relax, but for many Tar Heels, the extra time is a chance to explore new opportunities, pursue passions and get first-hand experience in their future careers.

As the new semester gets underway,
learn how some of our students spent their summers.

Over the summer, aspiring archaeologists, medical researchers, innovators and others participated in experiential learning opportunities across the country.
