    If these blocks could talk

    Our University Libraries recently acquired its 9 millionth volume: a collection of approximately 900 woodcut printing blocks from the Propaganda Fide press. The collection contains blocks in many languages, with a heavy concentration in East Asian and Middle Eastern languages, Slavic, Greek and other global languages.

    Sean Jackson, a UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media graduate and former Carolina lacrosse player, wrote, directed and produced “Race Night, a documentary that explores the culture and community of flat-track motorcycle racing in America's Midwest. It's a professional course he initially set in Chapel Hill.

    Carolina jazz professor Stephen Anderson and his band, the Dominican Jazz Project, overcame many challenges as they worked to record their latest album during a pandemic. The album is now being considered for the Grammy ballot.
