    Class of 2022 celebrates achievements at Winter Commencement

    Winter Commencement on Dec. 11 was an opportunity for graduating Tar Heels to relish in their achievements and celebrate all the work it took to earn a degree from Carolina.

  • Holiday Carolina Blood Drive

    The Carolina community came together on Dec. 7 to donate 368 units of life-saving blood at the 24th annual Holiday Carolina Blood Drive. Over the past three decades, Carolina's blood drives have collected 36,781 units of blood, impacting thousands of patients who have required blood transfusions.

  • MakerFest

    Carolina's maker community of students, faculty and staff gathered in the Carolina Union on Nov. 29 to showcase projects and prototypes created at campus makerspaces. Dozens of works that were created for classes and recreation were on display at the event, highlighting the breadth of creativity coming out of the Be a Maker Network.
