    On Wednesday, Aug. 31, the Carolina community came together for a memorial ringing of the Morehead-Patterson Bell Tower and a vigil at the Dean E. Smith Center in honor of faculty member Zijie Yan, who was killed in the on-campus shooting at Caudill Labs on Aug. 28.
