Interim Chancellor Lee H. Roberts has appointed a committee to examine the future of the Campus Y building and make recommendations about its governance and use. The Campus Y Committee’s work will build on existing efforts across the University to broadly examine building space and how it is allocated.

The Campus Y currently includes three distinct entities: the UNC Y (a department within Student Affairs), the Campus Y student organization and the building itself. The committee will bring together a full range of perspectives from across the campus community to provide input about space use within the building.

Chairs: James Moeser, chancellor emeritus, and Richard Stevens, former Board of Trustees chair
