The Student Stores mini clinic, operated by Campus Health, opened its doors in September, offering a new, convenient option for undergraduate students, graduate students and post-docs who want quick medical attention but do not need emergency care.

Located on the third floor of Student Stores, the mini clinic will be open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, providing students with access to care at a convenient location on main campus. For a $30 mini clinic visit charge, eligible students and post-docs can receive treatment for the recent onset of mild illness, injury or infection as well as some diagnostic tests. Students can drop-in to receive services at a convenient time for them. Wait times will vary depending on the volume of patients.

“We are excited to offer the Student Stores mini clinic as an additional resource for our campus community,” said Amy Sauls, director of pharmacy and professional services. “This clinic is another step forward in our commitment to making health care more accessible and convenient for students.”

In addition to the Mini Clinic, Campus Health offers a broad range of services at the James A. Taylor building including same-day care for more acute concerns, primary care, gynecology and sports medicine. Students can also connect with pharmacy services conveniently located adjacent to the Mini Clinic at Student Stores pharmacy, at Campus Health pharmacy in the basement of Campus Health, and through Healthy Heels To-Go vending machines located at the Carolina Union, Rams Head Recreation Center and the Michael Hooker Research Center.
